Their Stories I've read so many stories,
yet none appeal to me
I want the weak minded thought's,
I want to know their dreams

I'm sick of strong male characters,
and feisty female minds
I want someone who can't take it,
someone who's lost the fight

I want the truth behind the lies
Not the mask that hides the shy

I want their inner feelings,their core
I want to know their hearts, do they feel remorse?

I want to know their fears, their worries
I need to know who they are, their stories

The Glass The glass in front of me
Reflects my true desires
It knows my every truth
It knows that I'm a liar

The glass in front of me
Holds all my secrets
It locks them away
Buries my regrets

The glass in front of me
Will never set me free
It keeps me trapped inside myself
Only to pretend, never to be

Knows what it must do
The glass in front of me is a mirror
And on the other side is you

Ignorance Is BlissHow I envy fools

Those born without the

Eyes to see the darkness; the
Ears to hear the lies; the
Skin to feel the chafing cold; the
Sense to realize:
There's darkness all around us,
Lecherous and black.
We lead a meaningless existence.
Bitter, I turn back.

How I envy fools

Living life, never knowing

The storm on the horizon;
Her clouds fill up the skies.
They do not see the warnings,
Nor hear the gentle "sigh"
Of the wind that's brewing.
They do not feel the rain.
Their never-knowing state
Is all that keeps them sane.

They know nothing of pain

Will they ever find it,
The truth that I now know?
The sky is torn with vio

Built up angerNothing can explain this anger I feel inside
My mind wants to explode and I'm running out of time
I can't wait to let it all out in one single swipe
But I know I cannot, this fire is still alight

Oh you don't know how badly I want to punch your face
Tell you I hate you, expel your fate
I want to ruin your dreams, crush them hard
Make you suffer, just, OH MY GOD!

I can't even begin to explain this hate!
It even pains me to lock it up in this cage!
I so badly want to curse you out!

MemoriesI can feel every minute, every second
As if there was a clock ticking in my chest
The feelings that resonate within
the deepest pain, the most overwhelming ecstasy
The moments that clutter the desk that is my mind
My life in all its bits and pieces
Every instance recorded as if by video camera
They're all there jut waiting to be replayed
Jokes that want to be laughed at one more time
Connections that wish for the love to be felt again
They all live inside of me
I can visit them whenever I want
Once a day or once an hour, it doesn't matter
They are there for my use
No, I do not live in the past, I cannot
But that doesn't mean

Darkness DominatesDarkness dominates
Corners hidden in shadow
The light never comes.

When life gets you down
And no one's around
Acting the clown
So feelings aren't found
Living a lie
So that you can hide
You kick and you scream
Pray you don't cry
You hold up a mask
So no one can ask

With the way
You live your life
Like you're on stage

I'm angry, enraged.

I blame you.

I turn and open my hand, my eyes meet shimmering sand and I see...

A myriad of laughter shards,
a toy box crammed with forgotten times and cries,
the sweat of a humid summer day.

I close my eyes and my fist, breathing deep, calming down

To release this punch would be useless

I could throw it in your face, in your eyes but it would be a waste.

You wouldn't see what I see.

Stand.All my life I've been waiting for something that never came,
But I will forever stand my ground and never lose this game,
I've had my pride stepped on and my world turned upside down,
My heart broken and tossed around,
I've come close to just giving up and throwing it all away,
But that is a non-existent day.
Call me names, talk shit, and do whatever the fuck you want,
I'll just laugh in your face and call you a cunt,
I am unable to be moved,
You may hurt me, stun me, or shock me,
Though you will never break me,
Just know I will never give up,
I have friends and family who love me,
Who will forever stand beside me,

Endlessly DreamingIn beauty, dreams guide my way
Starlight, daylight, moonrise
Every waking moment is immersed,
The longings for love will not break me-
Even as I am unmade.

SubmissionThere are words I don't recognize
written on the walls of my contentment.
I'm not sure what language they're in
or who wrote them, but I do know
that it says something about surrender.
I've given up more times
than I've given anything else.

ChangeFlowers grow,
flowers die.

Seasons pass,
people change.

Memories fade,
and minds wonder.

The world moves beneath my feet,
the stars alter and change,
Heroes are made,
and expectations are lowered.

The world is changing,
The people are changing,
You might be to.

ChangeIn life
you're given choices and chances
and what you decide
determines your fate.

The biggest mistake I made was
finally giving you a chance,
not once
but several times.

I kept thinking your actions
were due to hurt and retribution
but somehow maybe deep down inside
you did truly care.

Each and every time
you continued to disappoint me.
So now, here I am
a mess

And all I want today is
for you to change,
even though I have discerned
that that's impossible

and all I can hope for
now
is for me, myself
to change...

The Real Slim ShadyHe stood up.

My EndymionI was never a fond of love;
I never invited it into my bed,
nor gave it my tears.
Not that it would ask.

And yet tears I do now give,
in sacrifice.
To a man who never asked nor incited such feelings.
Feelings that crowd my mind,

And weigh my chest down.
With uncontrolled emotions that spire into fires of passion.
Pretty words seeming so small to describe,
the obsolete moment of truth that banishes dreams for reality.

Oh how the light so gently touches you,
and that smile.
That gives me a smile of my own.
This is a tragedy of situation my friend.

I Like Beginnings

I like beginnings
When anything seems possible
When we have yet to discover
Each other's vulnerabilities and weaknesses
What buttons to push causing the other pain
And to use it far too often

I like beginnings
When there's no bad history or tears shed
Ill recollection that creeps up on us
When faced with our own insecurities
And worthless self doubts
Of the past

I like beginnings
When love is a possibility
And just the thought of you
Leading to something new
Comforts my broken heart
Helping the soreness to mend

I like endings
An end of a horrid chapter
With hardly any good memories
To remember or reflect
Making that previous beginning come
To an end…
